CHEROKEE LODGE POLICIES

Booking Requirements:
Valid credit card & identification. NO CHARGE will be made to the credit card provided until day of arrival on reservation.
Phone number, email address and billing address are required for guarantee proposes.
A reservation will not be taken without a valid credit card.

Check-in Time:
Check-in time: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 11:00 a.m.

Late Arrivals (After 3:00 p.m.)

We have a self check-in procedure for guests arriving after 3:00 P.M.
For the safety and security of our guests we keep doors locked after 3 P.M.
There is a code to open the front door.
You will find an envelope on the wall, inside the front door with your last name containing instructions on how to get into your room.

Early Arrivals and Late Departures:
If your arrival is early in the day and you would like immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the Cherokee Lodge. If you choose not to reserve an additional night we will do our best to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee availability.

Cancellation Policies:
Cancellations for a reservation must be received by 12 p.m. three days or 72 hours prior to arrival (PST). If the reservation cancellation is not received by the required date, the credit card on file will be charged for one night’s accommodation, not including tax. All cancelled reservations will receive a cancellation number, which will be provided via email or given verbally at the time of cancellation.

Occupancy:
Guest must abide the maximum occupancy requirement.
Maximum occupancy includes children.
Unregistered guests are prohibited inside the rooms.

Rates & Discounts:
Room rates are based on double occupancy.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Rates do not include 10% occupancy tax.
Discounts are not valid towards 3rd party bookings.
Seasonal rates may apply depending on specific dates.
Discounts must be applied for at the time of booking, prior to arrival.
Specialty rates are not valid in conjunction with other discounts.

Children:
Children ages 12 and under stay free of charge.
Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by and adult or guardian at all times.
Maximum room occupancy includes children.
Breakfast is not provided for children but may be purchased.
Pack-n-Play Cribs (availability limited) can be reserved at the time of booking.

Additional Charges:
Additional Guest fee over 2 occupants is $25.00 per night, per additional occupant.
Pet fee is $25.00 per night/per pet. (Maximum 2 Pets.)
A room change fee of $35.00 may be applied when changing rooms during a consecutive stay.
Roll-away-bed charge is $15.00 per night. (limitations apply)

Billing & Payment:
Credit card on file will be billed for the entire stay plus tax by 3 p.m. on arrival.
In the event the credit card is declined the reservation will automatically be cancelled.

Credit Card Payment
Accepted Cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover

Cash Payment:
Cash is accepted at the time of check in for the full amount of stay plus tax.

3rd Party Payment Requirements:
A credit card authorization form must be submitted prior to arrival.
A copy of driver’s license, signature and credit card must be on file.

Pet Booking Policy:
The Cherokee Lodge is a pet friendly establishment.
We have a limited number of designated pet friendly rooms.
Designated pet friendly rooms are #1, #2, #11 and #12.
The reservation may not be booked through any third party booking source.
Call the Cherokee Lodge directly to confirm the reservation when traveling with a pet.
Failure to confirm may result in a pet friendly room not being available at check-in.
The Cherokee Lodge will not honor the reservation if a pet friendly room is not available.

Pet Policy:
The following policies are strictly enforced:
All pets must be registered at check-in.
$25.00 nightly fee applies per room/per pet.
$300.00 damage fee will be applied for any pet damage.
Maximum two pets per room.
65-pound weight limit for well-behaved dogs.
Pets must be on a leash at all times while outdoors and in the public areas.
Owners are responsible for picking up and disposing of their pets waste.
Housekeeping will not provide service to a guest room while a pet is present.
Pets cannot be left alone in the room at any time unless contained in a kennel.
Aggressive behavior is unacceptable.
Aggressive behavior may necessitate the pets removal from the premises.

Pet & Service Dog Release
You agree to release the Cherokee Lodge LLC from any and all claims or damages related to your animal or your animals stay at the Cherokee Lodge, including any claims by third-parties. Pet owner assumes all liability for damage to property caused directly by the animal.

Parking:
Limited street parking is available and is open on a first come first serve basis. Residential parking is free with a 72-hour maximum stay in one space.

Loading Zone:
Guest are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the loading zone located at the back of the property, in the alley between D Avenue & E Avenue. Please note that maximum parking in the loading zone is 1 hour.

Smoking:
The Cherokee Lodge is a non-smoking facility. If there is any indication that a room has been smoked in there will be a minimum of a $300.00 non-refundable fee charged to the credit card on file. This charge covers the cost of the deep cleaning required to restore the room back to its non-smoking condition.

The City of Coronado has a "No Smoking Ordinance". Smoking is not permitted on any city property, sidewalks, beaches or parks.

Smoking Area:
The outdoor designated smoking area is located at the back of the property by the patio area. Smoking is not permitted within 25 feet of any doorway or entrance to the building.

No Smoking, No Candles or Open Flame:
For purpose of safety the smoking is forbidden in any room or part of the interior of the Cherokee Lodge. Use of candles, incense or any open flame device is prohibited while inside the building. Failure to comply may result in a $300.00 non-refundable fee being charged to the credit card on file.

Quiet Times:
The City of Coronado noise ordinance mandates noise reduction after the hour of 10:00 pm and before the hour of 8:00 am. Please exercise courtesy by refraining from any activity that will create excessive noise during the hours mentioned.

Alcohol:
Alcohol is permitted on the property. Alcohol may not be given to minors at any time. Any person deemed to be intoxicated under the influence of drugs or alcohol whose behavior possess a threat to themselves, other persons or material property will be evicted.

Conduct:
All guest must respect the rights of other guest and of staff to the peaceful enjoyment of the premises. Violent or substantially disruptive behavior whether or not it is related to substance use will not be tolerated in public or private areas. This includes, but is not limited to, threatening other guest or staff and any other violent behavior towards others, destruction of property, making excessive noise and having high volume visitor traffic in your room.

Loss or Damage:
The Cherokee Lodge will not assume any responsibility for damages or loss of any merchandise or articles left in any area of the facility prior to, during or following a stay. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guest or for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
All occupants and guest must comply with all Federal, State and local laws at all times.

If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

CHILDREN & PETS
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Children age 12 and under stay free. Pets are welcome. Pets must weigh under 65 pounds. Pet Booking Policy: Designated pet friendly rooms are #1, #2, #11 and #12. Contact the Cherokee Lodge directly to confirm a reservation with your pet.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

ADDENDUM

Group Reservations
Three or more rooms, for 2 or more nights, either booked together or individually by parties traveling together, constitutes a group reservation. Group reservations require a 20% deposit at the time of booking and a 30-60 day cancellation policy. An additional group booking fee may be required. These policies supersede policies shown on an individually booked reservation. If you, or the parties you are traveling with, reserve three or more rooms, for 2 nights or more, you will be contacted and a contract will be required.

Holidays Special Events
Reservations during special event or holiday periods are subject to a longer cancellation policy, which will be stated in the confirmation notes. Should you NOT cancel your reservation within the specified timeframe, you will be charged for all nights of your original reservation. Additionally, a minimum night stay may be required, and early departures will be charged for the original reservation.
